Amazon just issued a warning ahead of Prime Day, so I wanted to report it to you ASAP.
Hackers are posing as Amazon reps, calling, texting, and emailing you claiming there’s a problem with your account. The message? If you don’t act now, your account could be suspended. That urgency is exactly how they get you to panic and hand over sensitive info — like your Amazon login or payment details.
Here’s the truth:
🔒 Amazon will never call or message you asking for your password.
📲 If you get a suspicious message, don’t click anything — go directly to the Amazon app or website to check your account.
📧 Report scams to: reportascam@amazon.com
These scams spike around big shopping events — so stay alert. And please forward this to someone you know who shops on Amazon. It could save them.
