They don’t call me “The Cheapskate” for nothing, lol. But I’m trying to do better at worrying less about spending, especially for things like travel. That said, I still struggle to enjoy eating at restaurants because the prices ruin it for me. Like, $20 for a burrito, are you kidding me?! 😂
Put an adult beverage into the mix and it's another $10, if not more. And that's just for one person! Hard to get my wife and I out of a restaurant anymore for under $50, usually closer to $100. Blech.
You just described my marriage of 55 years. My husband is the saver. For that I am grateful as we are retired for 20 years and are living comfortably. No mortgage, no car payment, college fund is empty, and we can enjoy dining out several times a week. Amazon is my go to place and recently have ordered for him. Cover valves for weedwacker, air compressor for tires, knee braces for his "old" knees just to name a few. Thanks for reminding me we are not alone. As I often tell him, Jeff you need to chill out 😉
Jeff, you are a brilliant guy. Always, one of your key traits. Never change! I look forward to watching you thrive in the years to
come! You and your wife are adorable! 🥰 Keep navigating the ups and downs — it’s a journey!!!!
Elaine!!!! Thank you so much! Miss working with you and seeing you. Hope all is well. You're the best and so appreciate the kind words!

We're in the same boat! The cost of a burger is at least $15 now.
